Garden Railroading is one of the fastest growing family hobbies. You can see fascinating train layouts and gardens, and experience the unique sights, smells, sounds, and excitement of the "large scale" world of model trains. Garden train engines are about the size of a large loaf of bread and look just like the real trains. Our membership includes beginners, intermediate, and advanced model railroaders. All of us have a common passion for these trains in the great outdoors as well as indoors. All share their ideas and knowledge with one another, so you can learn a lot about trains and gardens. Most of all, you will have fun!
The Kansas City Garden Railway Society is involved in a variety of activities, special events, and projects. All our meetings are informal and very friendly. For this years holiday layout, the KC Garden Railway Society is partnering with Powell Gardens in bringing trains, gardens and the holidays together. It has the making to be a very exciting season. |
